Religious Exploration for Children & Youth

All are welcome to join our fellowship on Sunday, December 7th as we begin to explore our new monthly theme of Choosing Hope. RE and YUU will meet on Dec 7th and 14th this month.

Nifty Gifty will be held on Saturday, December 6th from 9-12 PM. Nifty Gifty is an annual UUFA tradition when folx of all ages are invited to come make crafts and gifts for their loved ones. We will have several stations to create items for all to enjoy. We will also have special crafts geared towards older kids, teens, and adults!  We round out all the gift making with special treats, music, and a joyous celebration. If you want to bring snacks or drinks, please sign up here!
All are invited to visit the Abundance Table on Sunday, December 7th, in the Fellowship Hall before and after the worship service.  Bring items that are clean, functional, and in good condition that no longer serve you.  Take items from the table that you need and/or want.  

Any items not claimed or reclaimed will be donated.
Simple Supper will be on Wednesday, December 10th at 5:45 PM. All are welcome! If you would like a meal provided potluck style, please let me know by Tuesday, December 9th. You are also welcome to bring a dish to share (fruit, desserts, and snacks are always welcome).

Justice Partner Highlights

Athens Pride and Queer Collective Hosts Operation Transformation

Join Athens Pride and Queer Collective, a UUFA Justice Partner, on December 5 from 8 to 11 pm at Live Wire Athens for an unforgettable night of drag, art, and community. All proceeds from the event will directly fund APQC’s Gender-Affirming Care Grant, which provides financial assistance to individuals across Georgia seeking gender-affirming surgeries and care. Athens Area Paine College Club Presents Thurgood

The Economic Justice Coalition, a UUFA Justice Partner, is one of several organizations to benefit from the proceeds of the production of George Stevens’ Thurgood set for the Morton Theatre on December 6 at 3 pm and December 7 at 4 pm. Reggae Vibes Fundraiser: Georgia for Jamaica Hurricane Relief 

Supporting Families Impacted by Hurricane Melissa
