Be Engaged: UUFA Lectio Divina about UUA Article II Final Proposed Revision

Lectio Divina, which means “divine reading” in Latin, is a meditative way of reading designed to invite us to let go of our prior agendas and be present with the text and the moment.  All are invited to participate in one (or more) of the Article II Lectio Divina sessions that UUFA is sponsoring; in person, as well, as virtually meetings offered.

Staff Appreciation Year End Gift

The Holiday Hustle Concert W/ Bart King & Friends

“The Holiday Hustle” is scheduled for Dec. 15 at 7 pm at UUFA. Wonderful musicians and refreshments. Suggested Adult donation is $10 benefits the musicians and UUFA and includes refreshments. Children are free.

Religious Exploration for Children & Youth

RE and YUU will meet on Sunday, December 10th at 10:30 a.m. Join RE as we explore the Mystery in the Ordinary thanks to our incredible volunteers! We focus on the theme of Mystery as taken from the proposed Article II section that reads “As Unitarian Universalists, we proclaim that direct experiences of transcending mystery and wonder are a primary source of inspiration. These experiences open our hearts, renew our spirits, and transform our lives.”

The Food Justice Team Is Initiating Food Waste Collection 

What food scraps are acceptable? Anything that was once alive–paper, greasy pizza boxes, cheese, meat, bones, veggie, and fruit scraps. Click through to learn how members and friends may drop off compost at UUFA.
