Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) have raised the consciousness of our faith movement since the nineteenth century, yet Unitarian Universalism remains a predominantly white religious community, impoverished by our inability (or unwillingness) to widen our practices and keep our promises. Interim Minister  Rev. Lisa Romantum Schwartz will explore the long-term cultural and institutional change called for in the UUA’s challenge called Widening the Circle.
