Small Group Ministry at UUFA

Looking for true community?  Craving more meaningful conversations and deeper friendships? Look no further!

Join Small Group Ministry (SGM) for the 2024-25 program year. Groups consist of 8-12 people who meet 1-2 times per month to discuss personal topics and grow together.  Child care available.  Groups meet from September through May.

Craving meaningful conversation and connection?  Consider joining Small Group Ministry (SGM)!  Groups of 8-12 people meet once or twice a month and discuss a different topic in depth at each meeting.  We get to know each other deeply, learn and grow together, and build true community.

  • 15th – Statewide Primary Runoff for Georgia Public Service Commission
  • 18th – Athens Immigrant Rights Coalition (AIRC) Meeting, 5:30 to 7 p.m., Oconee St. United Methodist Church
  • 19th – UUFA Hosts “Leading with Love: Leadership That Meets the Moment” Learn more and Register here.

  • 20th – New Member Recognition
  • 26th – Off-site Pool Party for All Religious Exploration and Youth Families 

August

  •  2nd – Worship Playground, 1-3 p.m.
  • 10th – Backpack Blessing service followed by ice cream social.
  • August 22:  AIRC Meeting, 5:30 to 7 p.m., OSUMC
  • 23rd – UUFA Leadership Summit (2025-2026)  (9 a.m.-noon) Register here. 
  • 24th – Start of Family Promise Week (partnering with Holy Cross Lutheran Church)
