Paul Hartman Photography Exhibit: A Lightmonkey Show

The Clements Gallery has a new exhibit!

Our own Paul Hartman shares with us “A Lightmonkey Show,” a collection of stunning photographs. Paul explains his title: “Einstein coined the term ‘lichtaffen’ or lightmonkeys to dismiss photographers of his day, who he thought were unimaginative and did nothing but copy light.” Obviously Paul, who has been a photographer since high school, has started his own commercial studio, and has exhibited in juried exhibitions all over the country (winning prizes in many), has gone far beyond Einstein’s description. The  Opening Reception for the exhibit will be on January 26th, 7:00 pm-9:00 pm in the gallery. Paul will give an artist’s talk in the gallery at 11:45 am on January 21st.
