Ready. Set. Vote.

On Tuesday, September 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. join an exciting evening of live music, free food, and family fun to get Ready – Set – to VOTE on November 8!

This election is critical, and voting is harder for many. At this event let’s all get ready to vote:

  • Know when, where, and how to vote in this election
  • Make art – rock painting, posters and more – to Get Out the Vote!
  • Get inspired by local activists and high-profile national speakers
  • Discover why this election is critical to Athens by learning about the issues and policies that will directly impact our community,
  • Find one thing you can do to protect democracy and enjoy doing it! We’ll host postcard-writing, community art, and text and phone banking, just for starters.
  • Get a COVID-19 vaccine or booster! Free! No insurance or ID required.

So let’s sing and dance to The Splitz and dine on Rashe’s cuisine (free!) while we build joy getting Ready – Set— to Vote

This event is proudly hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Athens in partnership with the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement, the Economic Justice Coalition, Indivisible Georgia District 10, the New Georgia Project, and UU the Vote.
