March of Faith in Resistance to Mass Deportation

Many thanks to all UUFA members and friends who participated in the September 21 March of Faith in Resistance to Mass Deportation

Please take a moment the next time you see them to personally thank Ray Smith, Greg Davis, Iva King, Rev. Pippin, and all who were at the march for standing up for the Immigrant Community, for standing against Mass Deportation, and against theSeparation of Families. Thanks also to the Tim Johnson (Athens Religious Society of Friends – Quakers), Joel Siebentritt (Oconee St United Methodist), and the many members of the Interfaith Sanctuary Coalition steering committee for the commitment they brought to ensuring these voices were heard in Athens and beyond.
