UUFA’s next family Family Promise week is June 18. The remaining week in 2023 is the week of September 10.
Family Promise of Athens is a non-profit organization that provides immediate shelter and guidance to homeless families with children due to the impact of misfortunes they face. Once families are accepted into the program, Family Promise provides food, shelter, daycare, and transportation.

UUFA serves as a support congregation during weeks when the guest families stay overnight at Milledge Avenue Baptist Church located at 1690 S. Milledge Avenue.
We hope you will consider serving as a host, preparing a meal, or contributing money to purchase Kroger or Lyft gift cards for the families.
