10 a.m. Pick Corn with Concrete Jungle! All Ages Service Event OFF-SITE

Concrete Jungle transforms overlooked and underutilized fruit trees and land into a healthy food source for communities in need. Volunteers are needed to pick corn that will be donated to the food bank!

Details:

Concrete Jungle Athens is bringing in July’s bounty with a sweet corn harvest! The corn is located at an agricultural research plot at the Iron Horse Farm. We will meet at the corn plot at 10am.

Where: Iron Horse Farm (right outside of Watkinsville)

When: Saturday, July 22nd – 10am – 12 pm

What to bring: 
– sturdy, close-toed shoes
– comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and can move around in! Long pants and sleeves are HIGHLY recommended.
– water bottle
