Now’s the Time to Register for the June 22-26 GA
In June, UUs from around the country and beyond will gather for General Assembly. The focus this year is on “meeting the moment to reimagine radical faith community.” Through May 15 UUFA members can contact Board VP Iva King to request they represent the Fellowship as delegates. In May Board members will finalize the list of delegates – this year up to six!
GA is a wonderful opportunity to become more aware of what the Unitarian Universalist Association does at the national level, to experience meeting, sharing, and worshiping with other UU’s, and to learn more about how our congregation can engage with UU initiatives. For this year’s schedule and other GA essentials, visit UUA here.
Both delegates and other Fellowship members can register through UUA to participate, either in-person in Portland, OR, or virtually. For more on registration costs and housing, visit UUA. UUFA’s SAC will offer delegates a $200 stipend. Delegates and other attendees can save on costs by selecting UUA’s dormitory housing option.
Starting in April, UUFA delegates and attendees can prepare for General Assembly with the UUA Board of Trustees through Board-led webinars about the governance process at this year’s multiplatform GA.
UUFA members who do not register can still access General Sessions, Service of the Living Tradition, Synergy Bridging Worship and Sunday Morning Worship at UUA.org and YouTube.
For questions about GA and about serving as a delegate, please contact Iva King.
