A few committees assist the Board of Trustees in meeting their responsibilities for governing the organization and stewarding the resources of the Fellowship.
Building & Grounds Committee
Convened at the request of the Minister or Board of Trustees, the Personnel Team assists the Minister (as chief of staff) with human resource needs. Tasks may include reviewing job descriptions for advertising, interviewing candidates, recommending employment policies to the Board of Trustees, and more.
The Finance Committee advises the Treasurer and other Board trustees regarding their fiduciary responsibilities. They review and advise the Board and Minister on yearly budget needs and review monthly expenses with UUFA’s Bookkeeper, and serve as stewards of the weekly offering collections. Planned Giving Committee
The Planned Giving Committee’s mission is to accept, reject, hold, invest, and administer certain gifts, bequests, devises, benefits of trust, and property of any sort, without limitation as to amount or value, that are donated to UUFA for future use and not for operating funds or specific capital projects. The PGC administers and manages the Endowment Fund, the Planned Giving Fund, and any other funds assigned to it by the UUFA Board of Trustees.

To meet the budgeted fundraising goal set each year, members of the board of trustees establish specific events and projected net revenue from each and then find specific individuals willing to help make each one a reality. For more, click here.
