Come join the adventure with RE and UUFA!

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

Dear friends of RE,

For many, this summer has been filled with long awaited journeys as well as unexpected circumstances. As we ride this roller coaster, I am so grateful to be with you all.

In July, RE has been talking all about superheroes – we’ve been pondering questions such as: what makes someone a hero? Is it their empathy? Their strength? Can activists be considered superheroes?

How to take the conversation home: Who are your heroes? What special powers do they have? Do they align with any Unitarian Universalist values or principles?

Coming up in August: In August we will welcome Rev. Pippin and continue to build our relationships with one another and the community at UUFA. There will be opportunities for all ages worship, RE classes, youth programming, and a chance to meet with the various committees and groups that help make UUFA such a special place.

Looking forward to seeing you all as the summer winds down and we begin our next adventure!

From my heart to yours,

Kahla Childers (she/her)
Director of Religious Exploration
