Book Talks is an informal group that meets the second Sunday of the month at after the service (after second service if there are two) to discuss books selected by the members. While reading the monthly selection ahead of time is desirable, don’t stay away if you haven’t finished the book or haven’t read it at all. Your comments are always welcomed.

Michael Beard is an eminent Nobel Prize winning physicist. He is depressed over the fact that his fifth wife has begun an affair and his best work is behind him. When a younger physicist is accidently killed and Beard is able to convince the police his wife’s lover did it, he claims the younger man’s research as his own.
