July 8: Adaptive Living From Fear to Love – A virtual Learning Series at The  Mountain.

This series began with an introductory session on July 1.  Since there were over 100 participants, The Mountain has opened up the Zoom to 400! more.  The series will officially begin on July 8.  The remaining eight sessions will be held on Wednesdays at noon.  Currently, there are four attending from our Fellowship.  This series will address ways of becoming adaptable with balance and resilience to our current, changing world.

When the pandemic is under control, life as we know it will have changed in many ways.  Dr. Dudley Tower and Dr. Rita Brodnax will lead this series.  Dr. Tower will present on Aging Dynamically and Dr. Brodnax will present on Harnessing Happiness in Turbulent Times.  The series is free with a donation to The Mountain., which will help them make up some of the $500,000 loss due to covid-19 cancellations.

For more information, go to TheMountain.org/adaptive-living or call the office at 828-528-5838.  Dr. Tower also has agreed to make a presentation to the Board at its retreat in August.  Join others from around the country for the latest research and guidelines that will help us all navigate these challenging times.  Attendance at all the sessions is not required.  If you have questions, contact Kathy Mason (678-661-0394) or Carol-Lee Baker (706-483-2314).
