UUFA and Oconee Street United Methodist Church will host a day-long “Courtwatch” workshop on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Fellowship. The training is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge of the local court system and to describe how citizens can advance the cause of criminal and racial justice.
Judge Ryan Hope, representatives from the Clarke County public defender’s office and the Southern Center for Human Rights will facilitate. This workshop is free, and a light lunch will be provided.
