At its June 11, 2019 meeting, the UUFA Board of Trustees accomplished the following.
The Board welcomed newly elected members to its final meeting of the current fiscal year and discussed: the transition to a new Board; reflections on Board service; the summer schedule for the Board; review of the Annual Congregational Meeting; CPR/AED training to be offered to members who wish to participate on the UUFA safety team (interested members please email Rev. Alison); and pedestrian walkway safety.
Actions approved were: appointments to the Committee on Shared Ministry; and authorization for the Music Director and Minister to conduct a search to replace the pianist who is moving this summer.
These reports were accepted and discussed as necessary: Minister’s Report; and Treasurer’s Report.
Future agenda items are: naming of a new Vice President; assignment of portfolio responsibilities to Board members; review of revised Fund Oversight Committee policy; and discussion of the best use of Capital Campaign funds for mortgage reduction and building priorities.
Upcoming event: Quarterly Connections, Saturday, 9/7/2019, 9:00-noon. UUFA Quarterly Connections is a time for members and friends to come together to deepen their connection in our community. Light refreshments and conversation surround time for learning, growth and engagement in the operations and activities at our Fellowship.
