Construction Moving Ahead Despite Paper, Rock, and Water!

Construction is coming along – just a bit slower than hoped.

Paper – in the form of county approval that was delayed.

Rock – was found and drilled out in two locations where the large storm water management structures were required.

Water – rain is playing havoc with the work.  And breaking the water line a few times has created some issues!

None-the-less – we are making progress! The pad for the new addition has been leveled and compacted.  Footers for the columns are being dug and will be poured Friday (May 25) if the weather cooperates.  Preparing and pouring the slab is scheduled to be completed by the end of June, again depending on the weather!

Due to the delays, Cloverleaf and its subcontractors will be working some Saturdays and weekday evenings when necessary to make up time.

IMPORTANT PARKING DISRUPTION:  The construction fencing has been extended over the handicapped parking spots close to the building because additional space is needed to store the structural steel material being delivered next Tuesday (May 29).  Effort will be made to maintain accessibility to the building. This unfortunate disruption should only last a couple of weeks.
