April’s Volunteer Spotlight: Connie Bruce

Connie Bruce’s UUFA volunteering has spread Christmas joy to children throughout the community. Her work with the Social Action Committee’s Christmas Angel Project, chairing it in both 2014 and 2017, has linked Fellowship members to foster children wishing for a bright holiday season. Last year she coordinated the largest program ever, with members reaching out to forty children in the Department of Family and Children’s Services program. Connie is also a frequent participant in SAC meetings, offering to take minutes as needed. In addition, she serves as an usher during Sunday morning services on an ongoing basis, providing a welcoming smile to those who enter the sanctuary.

Thanks, Connie, for helping link UUFA to children in the wider community, and for supporting the Worship Arts Committee’s mission by ushering.
