A Special Thanksgiving Week Sunday Service

As Thanksgiving is celebrated this week, are you already thinking about what to do with those leftovers?

The Worship Arts and Celebrations team has a suggestion.

Join us on Sunday, Nov. 27, for a worship service entitled “Sharing Our Blessings:  Fellowship and Food” where we will share not only words of gratitude but also food. You are welcome to bring Thanksgiving leftovers or create a new dish to feed four to six folks.

We will break bread together during the service, enjoying not only our contributions of food but also of one another.

You are also invited to bring non-perishable food items (aka “CANtributions”), which will be matched by the Social Action Committee and shared with the Athens Area Emergency Food Bank.

The service will be accessible remotely as a Zoom virtual meeting here. (This is the same link as “Community & Conversation”, but will begin this Sunday at 10:30 a.m.)
