DESCRIPTION:Nethie Lockwood describes her show, “Pets and Places” as “an exploration of color, light, and life seen through our furry friends and open spaces.”  Since earning her BFA with a focus in painting from Ringling College of Art and Design, this Watkinsville artist has developed a strong fascination with color and light. Her special collection of paintings will be on view in the Claire and Robert Clements Gallery from March 28 through the end of June.  A reception will be held in the gallery on April 25, 5-7 p.m..
