DESCRIPTION:Concrete Jungle transforms overlooked and underutilized fruit trees and land into a healthy food source for communities in need. Volunteers are needed to pick corn that will be donated to the food bank!\nDetails:\nConcrete Jungle Athens is bringing in July’s bounty with a sweet corn harvest! The corn is located at an agricultural research plot at the Iron Horse Farm. We will meet at the corn plot at 10am.\nWhere: Iron Horse Farm (right outside of Watkinsville)\nWhen: Saturday, July 22nd – 10am – 12 pm\nWhat to bring: \n– sturdy, close-toed shoes\n– comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and can move around in! Long pants and sleeves are HIGHLY recommended.\n– water bottle\nContact Kate Blane to learn more and RSVP! It should be a fun event!\n
