DESCRIPTION:\nFamily Promise of Athens is a non-profit organization that provides immediate shelter and guidance to homeless families with children due to the impact of misfortunes they face. Once families are accepted into the program, Family Promise provides food, shelter, daycare, and transportation.\n\nUUFA serves as a support congregation during weeks when the guest families stay overnight at Milledge Avenue Baptist Church located at 1690 S. Milledge Avenue.\nWe hope you will consider serving as a host, preparing a meal, or contributing money to purchase Kroger or Lyft gift cards for the families.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease contact UUFA Family Promise Coordinators through justice@uuathensga.org if you have questions or need help signing up.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
